The Somerville House Murray Evans Sports and Aquatic Centre is located on Stephens Road, South Brisbane and houses an Olympic sized swimming pool and a well-equipped and resourced gymnasium. 

The Centre is located within the Somerville House campus and includes the following facilities for hire:

50m 8 Lane Swimming Pool with moveable bulkhead

• Olympic size swimming pool with the ability to hire as 25m or 50m pool
• Hire 1 to 8 lanes
• 1.8m depth throughout
• Available for Squad swimming sessions (Triathlon / Group fitness)
• Water Running Classes aqua aerobics (Deep Water)
• Water Polo training or games

Indoor Sports Hall and Multipurpose Courts

• Hire the whole space or half court with grandstand seating of approximately 300 guest capacity
• Multipurpose court space for badminton, volleyball, netball, basketball or any type of group fitness class
• Sprung floor 

Classroom / Meeting Room

• Classroom available for meetings, conferences or training sessions
• Fully furnished stylish with the ability to use smart TV, board and white board

Gymnastics Annexe

• Fully functional gymnastics space (Hire opportunities are limited)
• Use of the sprung floor can be arranged for group fitness classes

Strength and Conditioning Gym / Group Fitness area

• Used for any strength and conditioning purposes
• Free weights
• Squat racks
• Bar weights
• Medicine balls
• Chin up bars
• Synthetic grass area / Sled push
• Full mirrors and wall space
• Rubber flooring throughout
